Our Why

Third Street Catering is a program under the Business and Workforce Development branch of Third Street Education Center.  We desire to offer excellent service and cuisine while training and empowering the disenfranchised toward gainful employment and future food service careers.  When you hire us, you provide an opportunity to help change someone’s life. We would love to partner with you in your culinary needs.

Our Staff

Everett Garner has worked in the food service industry for over 16 years, even running his own catering company. Throughout his life, Everett struggled with substance abuse and has now been clean for over 6 years.  This makes him the perfect leader to help others who have walked similar life paths change the trajectory of their life. Through his leadership and his culinary chops, we expect to bring more than just good food to the table.

Sauteed chicken, shitake mushrooms, and toasted cashews in a hoisin-garlic sauce. Served with leaf lettuce wraps, cilantro-carrot slaw and sesame roasted edamame.

Island Chicken Skewers- $10.00
Roasted chicken, bell peppers, sweet onions and pineapple glazed with a mango jerk sauce. Served with black beans and coconut-ginger fried rice.

Mediterranean Steak Wrap- $9.50
Grilled marinated sirloin, sweet cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, mixed greens, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce. Wrapped in a sundried tomato tortilla. Served with kettle cooked chips and roasted vegetables.
Add side of slow cooked white beans for $.50

Buffalo Chicken Wrap- $9.50
Grilled boneless chicken breast tossed in a tangy buffalo sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles. Served with kettle cooked chips and garden salad (assorted dressing packs included).

Butternut Squash Ravioli- $10.00
Ravioli stuffed with rich butternut squash, tossed in a champagne cream sauce. Served with garden salad and warm breadsticks. Individual Dressing packets and butter packets included.

Pistachio Crusted Pork Tenderloin- $11.00 Slow cooked pork tenderloin crusted with crushed pistachios and topped with a bacon and mango chutney. Served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and southern style green beans.
